1. Overview
The following data protection information informs you about the type and scope of the processing of so-called personal data by Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH. Personal data is information that can be directly or indirectly assigned to you personally.
Data processing by Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH can essentially be divided into two categories:
For the purpose of contract processing, all data required for the execution of a contract with Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH will be processed. If external service providers are also involved in processing the contract, e.g. notaries or payment service providers, your data will be passed on to them to the extent required.
When you visit the Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH website, various pieces of information are exchanged between your end device and our server. This can also be personal data. The information collected in this way is used, among other things, to optimize our website or to display advertising in the browser of your end device.
In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, you have various rights that you can assert against us. This includes, among other things, the right to object to selected data processing, in particular data processing for advertising purposes. The possibility of objection is highlighted in print.

3.1 Visiting our website
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website server and temporarily saves it in a so-called log file. We have no influence on this. The following information is also recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
the IP address of the requesting internet-enabled device,
the date and time of access,
the name and URL of the retrieved file,
the website from which access was made (referrer URL),
the browser you are using and, if applicable, the operating system of your internet-enabled computer and the name of your access provider.
The legal basis for processing the IP address is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed below. At this point, we would like to point out that we cannot draw any conclusions about your identity from the data collected and that we will not draw any conclusions either.
The IP address of your end device and the other data listed above are used by us for the following purposes:
Ensuring a smooth connection setup,
Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
Evaluation of system security and stability as well
other administrative purposes.
The data is stored for a period of 90 days and then automatically deleted. Furthermore, we use so-called cookies, tracking tools, targeting processes and social media plug-ins for our website. Exactly which procedures are involved and how your data is used for this is explained below under Section 3.4. explained in more detail.
3.2 Conclusion, execution or termination of a contract
3.2.1. Data processing upon conclusion of the contract
The object of activity of Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH is the purchase of residential properties such as condominiums, houses, plots of land and apartment buildings. In this context, we process the data required for the conclusion, implementation or termination of a contract. Which includes:
First name Last Name
billing and delivery address
E-mail address
billing and payment data
if applicable date of birth
if necessary telephone number
The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b) GDPR. If we do not use your contact details for advertising purposes (see 3.3. below), we store the data collected for contract processing until the statutory or possible contractual warranty and guarantee rights have expired. After this period has expired, we will keep the information on the contractual relationship required under commercial and tax law for the periods specified by law. For this period (usually ten years from the conclusion of the contract), the data will only be processed again in the event of a review by the tax authorities.
3.2.2. Identity and Reporting to Credit Bureaus
If necessary, we check your identity using information from service providers. The legal basis for this is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b) and Letter f) GDPR. The authorization to do so results from the protection of your identity and the avoidance of fraud attempts at our expense. The circumstance and the result of our request will be saved in your customer account or your guest account for the duration of the contractual relationship.
3.2.3. contact form
If you send us offers or inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
3.3 Data processing for advertising and communication purposes
3.3.1. Advertising purposes of Wilhelm I Wohnwert GmbH and third parties
If you have concluded a contract with us, we will treat you as an existing customer. In this case, we process your postal contact data without the existence of a specific consent in order to send you information about new services and products in this way. We process your e-mail address in order to send you information for our own, similar products or services, unless you have given your specific consent.
3.3.2. Interest-based advertising
So that you only receive information that is supposedly of interest to you, we categorize and add further information to your customer profile. Both statistical information and information about you (e.g. basic data of your customer profile) are used for this purpose. The aim is to provide you with information based solely on your actual or supposed needs and not to bother you with useless advertising.
The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. The processing of existing customer data for our own advertising purposes or for the advertising purposes of third parties is to be regarded as a legitimate interest.
3.3.3. recommendations
Even in the case of private mediation recommendations, personal data may only be passed on with the consent of the person concerned (§ 28 Para. 3 Federal Data Protection Act). The contact details of the potential seller and his intention to sell may therefore only be communicated to the real estate agent with the consent of the person concerned. Otherwise, if the contact details should not be passed on, but the seller should be asked by a recommendation to report the tip recommendation to the broker himself, it must be ensured that he is aware of the tip premium of the private tipster.
3.3.4. Right to object
You can object to data processing for the aforementioned purposes at any time free of charge, separately for the respective communication channel and with effect for the future. An e-mail or a postal letter to the contact details mentioned under 1. is sufficient for this.
If you object, the affected contact address will be blocked for further advertising data processing. We would like to point out that in exceptional cases, information material may still be sent even after receipt of your objection. This is for technical reasons and does not mean that we will not implement your objection. Thank you for your understanding.
